Kelley Marie Scott Rose

Kelley was born on April 11, 1958 in Riverton, Wyoming to Frank Cook and Sammie L. Bayne-Cook. In Kelley’s early childhood her mother was remarried to Robert Scott. Between the two marriages, Kelley was the oldest of 8 siblings. Kelley attended Bryant Elementary and Scottsbluff Junior and Senior High Schools. Kelley was known for her beauty inside and out and also her incredible voice. She was the lead in her senior high school musical playing the part of Maria in West Side Story. During high school she worked at Sirloin Stockade Restaurant. Kelley graduated high school in 1976. Upon graduation she attended Hiram Scott College. On August 6, 1976 Kelley married Vinc Aulick of Scottsbluff, NE. To this union was born their daughter, Ashley. Kelley was employed as a secretary at various places throughout the community. Among her employment, she worked at City of Scottsbluff, Scottsbluff Surgical Association, Lockwood Corporation, Scottsbluff High School, and Western Pathology Consultants. On May 22, 1987 Kelley married Forrest Sammy “Sam” Rose, Jr. Through marriage, she gained two children. Kelley had been a Mary Kay Consultant since 1993. She was an active member of WestWay Christian Church since 1999. She had been a part of bible study groups throughout the years and part of the bread ministry at WestWay. Kelley was known as a supportive wife and mother. She adored spending time with her grandchildren. Sam and Kelley enjoyed spending time with family. Traditionally extended family gathered at their home for holidays. Sam and Kelley loved their date nights. They would regularly go for “dinner and a movie”. They recently have taken many trips across the United States exploring the beauty of the different states. Together they would volunteer at the Midwest Theatre serving at the concession stand. They are preceded in death by their parents Leila Frances Jensen Rose and Forrest Sammie Rose, Sr., Frank Cook, Robert and Sammie Scott; Sam’s brother, Leland G. Bill Rose; and Kelley’s brother, Kevin Scott. Memorial services will be held November 28, 2015 at WestWay Christian Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
