Earl L. Newberry, 69, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord November 4, 2014, at Memorial Health Care System. He was born May 14, 1945 to Forest and Carrie Newberry. He married Mary Roehrig April 1, 1966. He attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church, when he was able. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a life member of V.F.W. He was last employed with Graff Trucking of Kalamazoo, MI. retiring in 1999. He enjoyed antique tractors. He was preceded in death by his parents Forest and Carrie (Strong) Newberry; his daughter Karen Newberry; brother Homer Newberry. He is survived by his wife of 48 ½ years, Mary Newberry of Decatur, TN; son David Newberry of Decatur, TN; daughter Tammy Ribbey of Coldwater, MI; two brothers, John Newberry and Leo Newberry, both of Quincy, MI; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Rymer officiating. Will receive friends from 10 am until 1 pm before funeral. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery, Quincy, MI. The family will receive friends from 5- 8 pm, Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
