Mr. William Ransom Campbell, 73, of 8889 Tomstown Road, Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 in his home.
Born May 14, 1942 in Sayre, Pa., he was the son of the late George William "Red" and Emma (Stone) Campbell.
Mr. Campbell worked as a stone and marble mason.
He and his wife, the late Mrs. Bonnie (Springfield) Campbell, were married Nov. 30, 1963 in Wellsburg, Pa. Mrs. Campbell passed away April 28, 2014.
Mr. Campbell was an avid golfer who will be remembered for his lifetime membership at Maple Run Golf Club in Thurmont, Md.
He is survived by three children, William Jon Campbell of Sterling, Va., Karen Campbell Jaeger and her husband, Shane Jaeger of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa. and Kevin D. Campbell and his wife, Mindy Campbell of Westminster, Md.; four grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsey, Cory and Olivia; two sisters, Emma Jean Daniels and Shirley Ann Johnson; one brother, John Campbell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Campbell, Richard Campbell and Kent Campbell.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
