Maxine Elizabeth Stanley, 87, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Rayburn Healthcare and Rehabilitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Little Hope Cemetery.
A native of Beaumont, Texas, she was a resident of Houston, Texas for over twenty years until moving to Jasper in 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents William Miller & Georgia Mae Wright Leavell, a sister Pauline Williams, sons Roy White, Winifred Perego, & Ronnie Perego. She is survived by her son Arnold Perego & wife Paula of Jasper, Texas; a daughter Carol Butler of Jasper, Texas; a sister Clara Crumpacker of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren Van Nathan, Brandy Perego Elliott, Brandon Perego, Micheal Perego, James Perego, Bobby Perego, Wayne Perego, Mandy Perego, Randy White, & Tiffany White; as well as fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
