RICHMOND, Ind. – Donald E. Puthoff, age 86, of Richmond, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Brookside Haven Health Care in Muncie, Indiana. Born February 3, 1929, in Richmond, Indiana, to Omer and Ferne Marshall Puthoff, Donald was a life-long resident of Richmond. He was a Richmond High School graduate. Donald was a United States Marine Corps Korean War veteran. He worked at Belden for 40 years. Survivors include his son, Donald Puthoff Jr. of Florida; granddaughter, Erin Puthoff of Orlando, Florida; cousin, Carla Wolfe of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Geri Puthoff of Eaton, Ohio; and special friends, Don Kahle and Golden Cottingim both of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Puthoff, who died in 2007 and sister, Barbara J. Puthoff. Visitation for Donald E. Puthoff will be from 5 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. A private burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery.
