Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Nancy E. Kirkland, 75, of Cottage Grove, TN, died November 24, 2015.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, on January 23, 1940, she was the daughter of Albert J. and Marjorie A. Haas.

Her spirit is carried on by her husband of 35 years, Bill Kirkland, of Cottage Grove, TN, daughter Debbie Morgette of Birmingham, AL, twin brother Thomas E. Haas (Maureen) of Chicago, IL, many nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but none forgotten, and two very devoted dogs, Sabrina and Dixie.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James A. Haas (Ginger) and William D. Haas (Marlene).

Nancy was an avid reader, enjoyed bird-watching, wrote poetry, loved watching professional football game and tennis matches, and liked to antique shop.

She always had a story to tell, and never met a stranger.

They family will receive friends on Monday, November 30, 2015, beginning at 9 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Nancy will be incredibly missed by those who knew and loved her. Debbie wishes to express that her mom was her own super hero.
