COEBURN, Va. Peggy Hamm, 77, died Friday, November 20, 2015, at the home of her niece, Elizabeth Stallard. She was born in Castlewood, Virginia, daughter of the late Barney and Nannie Jessee Hamm. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee Hamm and Edgar Hamm; and two sisters, Jean Price and June Stallard. She graduated from Castlewood High School with the class of 1955 and was a member of Hamlin Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, James Hamm of Castlewood, Virginia; two nieces, Elizabeth Stallard of Coeburn, Virginia and Reba Gilliam and husband, Roger, of Richmond, Virginia; four nephews, James Stallard and wife, Betty, of Castlewood, Virginia, David Price of Greenville, Tennessee, Roger Hamm of Castlewood, Virginia, and James Hamm and wife, Geneva, of Castlewood, Virginia; two great-nieces, Suzanne Sherfey and husband, Nick, of Kingsport, Tennessee and Rebecca Williams and husband, Timothy, of Church Hill, Tennessee; and one great nephew, Kevin Stallard of Castlewood, Virginia. Funeral services for Peggy Hamm will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia, with the Rev. Lee Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Men of Hamlin Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
