Southold, LI, January 19- The remains of Mrs Nellie Sweeney, wife of Michael Sweeney of Manhattan, were buried from St Patrick's Roman Catholic church this morning with a requiem mass. The Rev Myles O'Reilly officiated.
Deceased was formerly Miss Nellie McCabe, daughter of Michael McCabe, a well to do Southold farmer. Michael Sweeney and Miss McCabe were married less than one year ago and settled in Manhattan, where the husband was a prosperous business man. Mrs Sweeney was taken violently and suddenly ill last Sunday night and expired within a few Hours afterward.
The interment, which was witnessed by a large number of the Southold community, took place at St Patrick's Cemetery.
