Frostburg. Feb. 9.
Alfred Cline.

Alfred Cline, a Civil War veteran, died at 8 a.m. yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Rephorn. He was a native of Ohio and was in his 76th year. Mr. Cline had been a resident of this place since he was 18 years old with the exception of the years he served in the Union Army.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sarah Steffy, of Bryan, Ohio; two sons, Alfred, of Youngstown, and David, of this place; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Rephorn, of this place; Mrs Lillie Price, of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Margaret McLuckie, of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Elizabethe Folk, of Ridgeley, W. Va.

On account of illiness at the home of Mrs. Frank Rephorn, the body of Mr. Cline was moved to the home of his niece, Mrs. William Eisel, 60 Mechanic street, from which place the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon.

The funeral will be in charge of Rev. C.L. VanDerLinden and will be attended by members of Thoburn Post, Grand Army of the Republic.

Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
