Rainey, Betty Ann (Burnes) Age 88, of Bloomington. Born August 6th, 1925 and passed peacefully away on Saturday, September 28th. This kind, sweet woman was preceded in death by her parents, John D and Ann E Burnes and husband of 50 years, Robert G. Rainey. She is survived by her brother, Bruce Burnes (Marilyn), very special sisters-in-law, Arlene Jackson and Phyllis Willey and brother-in-law, Dale Rainey. Betty is survived also by her daughter, Susan Downs (Robert); sons, Timothy Rainey (Julie) and Peter Rainey (special friend Stacy Avery). She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Tamara Downs-Schwei (Joe), Melissa Hansen, Alexandra Moreno, Mindy Hansen, Curtis Hansen (Kelli), Christina Downs, & Robert Downs, Jr. Great-grandchildren are Amaya, Jovani, Olivia, Marnie, Maisie and Lily. Betty was a lifetime lover of Jesus and followed His example of love, service and compassion. Her family was her life and she touched each member with wisdom, generosity and a subtle wit. Life, to her, was about everyone else. She greatly minimized her many aches and pains so others wouldn't worry. She is now pain and worry free!
