Mr. Simpson was a retired farmer and cattleman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ashdown, AR, with failing eyesight he became a faithful attendee of First Baptist Church of Wilton, AR. Mr. Simpson was a member of Rocky Comfort Masonic Lodge, and served in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jewell Simpson; his parents; one brother, Will Jr. Simpson; one sister, Lila Smith; one nephew, David Smith.
He is survived by two sisters, Marion "Bee" Saunders of Texarkana, AR, Ilo Seibert of Fort Worth, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Ashdown Cemetery.
