Died—At his home south of Wright’s Point, Monday, Jan. 6, Wm. Henney, aged 55 years. Deceased had been suffering from rheumatism of the heart. He was a recent arrival from Colorado and was unmarried. His brother and family are his nearest relatives in this section. The funeral was held Wednesday, the remains being buried in a cemetery recently laid out in that vicinity.

William Henney was born in Victoria, Nova Scotia, on Jan. 3, 1842. He came to Colorado in 1880 and resided there until one year ago when he came to Burns, Oregon and took up a homestead at Dog Mountain. He was taken sick on the 30th of December, 1907 and died on the 6th of January, 1908.
