Scott J. Carpenter, 51, of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 in Highlandville, MO. He was born December 4, 1963 in Festus, Missouri, the son of Melvin and Deanna Carpenter. He married Diane M. Carpenter on March 13, 1982.
Scott spent 14 years serving in the United States Navy and worked 17 years for the City Utilities Power Station.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Rose Carpenter.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Diane Carpenter; daughter, Chelsea and her husband, Chris Wells; father, Melvin C. Carpenter; brothers, Melvin C. Carpenter, II and his wife, K.C.; Michael I. Carpenter; and Darren Carpenter and his wife, Molly; brothers-in-law, Thomas (Butch) E. Jones and his wife, Sharon; and Justin A. Jones and his wife, Christin.
Graveside services with full military honors in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
