GEORGE W. DINGUS, 84, died at his home, Nickelsville, Route 1,at 7:05 am Friday after a lingering illness. He was a retired farmer and merchant and a life long resident of Scott County.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs L.E. Sexson, Kingsport and C.A. King Castlewood, VA. three sons, Ezra, New Hall WV, Stewart Chincho, VA and Emroy Dingus Castlewood, one sister Mr George Elam of WV, one brother Hop Dingus Nickelsville; 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Sabras Chapel at 2 pm Sunday. Burial will be in the Sabras Chapel Cemetery.
