Laura retired from Matthews International in Pittsburgh after 16 years of service.
She enjoyed reading and listening to her old records. She loved working in the yard with her flowers and feeding the birds.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, David Robert Hamilton, who passed away on Sept. 3, 2001. Laura was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
As per her request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Espyville Cemetery on Chapel Road, with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton of Linesville and Harmonsburg United Methodist churches officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
