Bob was married to Doris Krothe for 42 years. They had two children, Alan (Cheryl Ann) and Cheryl (Dan). They had three grandchildren, Jeff (Ashley), Steve (Megan), and Lori (Paul), and four great grandchildren, Matthew, Christian, Jack and Mitchell. He was a veteran of World War II and and ex POW.
He ran his own painting business for 42 years, was an avid bowler and had a wonderful sense of humor!
