Mrs. Evelyn Turbeville, 82, wife of Mr. James Turbeville, died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at McLeod Hospice, after an illness.
Mrs. Turbeville was born on December 2, 1932 in Florence County, a daughter of the late A. K. McKenzie and Maude Williams McKenzie. She was a 1953 graduate of South Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and was employed by Lake City Medical Clinic for 42 years and she was employed part time at Lake City Walmart for 21 years. Mrs. Evelyn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Turbeville was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Averitt Jordan.
