MRS. MATILDA (HELSEL) GREEN

Wife of Ferdinand Green and former resident of Hollidaysburg, died at her home in Akron, O., yesterday afternoon at 12.30 o'clock following a lengthy illness. She was born in Freedom township, west of Newry, a daughter of Daniel and Juliana (Long) Helsel, on Sept. 6, 1868. Surviving are the husband and these children: Chester and Victor Green and Mrs. Isabelle Roberts, all of Akron; two brothers, Alex Helsel of Hollidaysburg and Samuel J. Helsel of Pittsburgh, and one sister, Mrs. Daniel K. Beegle of Duncansville, R.D. No. 1, residing in Maple hollow. The body will arrive in Altoona tonight at 11 o'clock and will be taken to the home of her sister in Maple hollow.

GREEN--Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda (Helsel) Green of Akron, O., will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Daniel K. Beegle, Duncansville, R.D. No. 1, in charge of Rev. G.B. Harman, pastor of the Duncansville Lutheran church. Interment in the Newry Lutheran cemetery.
