June A. (DiNapoli) Sullivan, age 76, of Holyoke, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of Myra (Bogart) DiNapoli and the late Anthony DiNapoli. June was a graduate of the former Holy Rosary High School and was retired from Career Point where she worked as a Service Representative. She served as the Acting Director of the Holyoke Senior Center, where she was very active, and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Holyoke. June was a very outgoing and fun loving woman who loved to entertain and perform, often performing with the George Burns Corrall Group. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by her many many friends and loving family. Besides her mother, June is survived by her husband Edwin J. Sullivan of Holyoke, and her children; Donna Rivard of Cape Cod, Tony Rivard of NV, Kim Rivard of Cape Cod, Gary Rivard and Randy Rivard, both of Holyoke; two grandchildren, Matthew and Navi Rivard; and several nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her brother, Officer John DiNapoli. Family and friends are asked to gather for a funeral service on Wednesday November 25 at 11:00 am at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave. Holyoke. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holyoke Senior Center, 291 Pine St. Holyoke, MA 01040.
