Darlene I. Bryan, 84, of Columbia passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in Columbia.
She was born May 26, 1931, in Norborne, the daughter of Hazel L. (Williams) and Rolf Russell Noll.
Darlene married Gene Bryan June 18, 1950, in Richmond.
Darlene worked as a trust officer at Boone County National Bank.
She owned and operated Fleur-De-Lite Candles and co-owned Barnloft Antiques with her son Glen until 1995.
She was a water color artist and was co-founder of The Wooly Hookers, receiving several awards for her designs.
Darlene enjoyed fishing with her lifelong friend Shirley Cade and playing Bridge. Bourbon and water were served daily at 4 p.m. in her home.
Survivors include her sons, David Bryan, Glen (Ronda) Bryan and Denver (Anne) Bryan; six grandchildren, Jason (Lori), Justin (Melanie), Jerrod (Amanda), Ben, Will and Rachel Bryan; four great-grandchildren, Shelby, Levi, Ethan and Wyatt Bryan; one sister, Jane Swofford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene Bryan, in 1993 and two sisters, Jo Hanson and Shirley Harrison.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
