Born in Joplin, Mo., he moved to Sherman where he lived until 1954 when he moved to Dallas where he established a music and art studio where he taught until the time of his death. He was married to the former Elsa Mason, a resident of the Milton area, in 1954.
He studied music at the Julliard School of Music in New York City where he received his degree in piano. He made his debut in 1927 in the Aeolian Music Hall in New York.
Survivors include his widow.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bentonville Cemetery with Rev. Charles Alford officiating.
