Mrs. Ida Mae Dudley, 86, died Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. at Heathergreene Nursing Home where she had been a patient two years. She formerly resided at 521 Cottage Grove Ave.
She and her husband, the late William F. Dudley, operated Dudley's Market on S. Monroe St. for a number of years. The Dudleys were married Jan 20, 1939. Mr. Dudley died March 23, 1968.
Born May 14, 1881 in Rarden, Oh., Mrs. Dudley was a member of Southside Church of God. She was the daughter of Jerry and Betty Snyder Moore.
Survivors include a son, William V. Dudley of Xenia; one sister, Miss Anna Moore of Covington, Ky.; three brothers, Arthur Moore of Springfield, John Moore of Florida; three grandchildren, Robert Lee Dudley of Springfield, Mrs. John (Billie Jo) Brooks of Springfield and Patty Dudley of Xenia; and three great-grandsons. Three sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce R. Brooks, pastor of the First Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, 7-9 p.m.
