Randal Dean “Randy” Davis, 59, of Decatur, IN, passed away, on November 21, 2015 at Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne. He was born on November 21, 1956, in Decatur, IN, to Ray B. Davis and Doris D. (Draper) Neal. On August 13, 1988, he married Rose M. Miller.

He worked for 40 years at Bunge (Central Soya) in Decatur. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Decatur Fire Department, Station 1, for 13 years and for 6 years at the Grabill Fire Department (Northeast Fire & EMS). He was a member of the Salamonie House boaters Redneck Yacht Club and of a local breakfast club.

Randy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rose M. Davis of Decatur; his father, Ray B. Davis of Van Wert, OH; his mother, Doris D. Neal of Decatur; 2 daughters, Lori Lee (Davis) Trowbridge Hensley of Ft. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra Kay (Davis) and David Little Sr. and brother-in-law, Elmer Miller.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Haggard – Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.

Due to Thanksgiving on Thursday, A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at The Bridge Community Church in Decatur, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Mo Hodge and burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery.

He was born November 21, 1956, at Adams County Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Adams County, Indiana. Parents Ray Bernell Davis, of Van Wert, Ohio and Doris Delane Draper Davis Neal, of Decatur, Indiana.
On August 13, 1988 he married his wife of 27 years and 3 months, Rose Marie Miller Davis, she survives.
He worked for 40 years at Central Soya/Bunge, Decatur, Indiana in maintenance. He was a volunteer firefighter with Decatur Fire Department, Station 1, for 13 years (from February 1, 1985 to 1998, and Grabill Fire Department (Northeast Fire and EMS for 6 years. He was member of the Salamonie House boaters Redneck Yacht Club since 1994. And a member of the local Arby's breakfast club.
Among survivors are his father, Ray Bernell Davis of Van Wert, Ohio; his mother, Doris Delane Draper Davis, Neal of Decatur, Indiana; 2 daughters, Laura Lee Davis Trowbridge Hensley of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Lisa Marie Davis Bailey(finance, Dustin Clark), Decatur, Indiana; son in law, Billy Joe Bailey, Decatur, Indiana, and a brother, Michael Eugene "Mike" (Janelle Marie Krueckeberg) Davis of Decatur, Indiana.
Also Surviving are 5 grandchildren, Tyler Nicholas Trowbridge, Taylor Alysse Trowbridge of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Makayla Marie Bailey, Carter Joe Bailey of Decatur, Indiana, Wyatt Randal Clark of Decatur, Indiana.
