Services for Arnold R. "Judd" Schulmeister Sr., a retired Niagara-Wheatfield School District employee, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.

The North Tonawanda native was an Army veteran of World War II.
He had been employed by the Niagara-Wheatfield School District as a custodial supervisor.

Schulmeister was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Gratwick Hose Fire Company, North Tonawanda Fireman's Association, Renaissance Club, Squirrels Club and the American Legion Wheatfield Post.

Survivors include his wife, the former Clara "Marie" Stahlman of Wheatfield; three sons, Arnold of Honolulu, Guy of Niagara Falls and Dale of San Diego, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Elaine Ayrhart of the City of Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
