John Sutton and his wife, Harriet Cook Sutton, were first cousins. Their mothers were sisters.

Jeddo, Oct. 20-Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth Sutton, 81, died unexpectedly Wednesday in the home of her son, Merlin Sutton, near here.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Central Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. W. B. Weaver, Croswell, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeport.

Besides her son, Merlin, Mrs. Sutton is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marks, Newberry, Mich.

Mrs. Sutton was born in Ontario, July 31, 1851. She had lived on the farm where she died for 45 years.
