Appleman, Evelyn M, 66, of 205 Center Ave., Kendallville, died Monday in McCray Hospital. She was born July 21, 1919 in LaGrange County, the daughter of Ralph and Wava (Sherman) Fisher. On Aug. 2, 1939 she married Harold Appleman, who died in 1982. She lived in LaGrange before moving to Kendallville 43 years ago. She retired in 1982 from Sears where she had been employed 22 years, and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Kendallville. Surviving are a son, Dale of Angola; a brother, Robert of LaGrange County; and two grandchildren. Services will be Thursday in Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. + 4-14-1986
