Services for Jimmie Lee Whitehead were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Henson of the First Baptist Church in Avant, officiating.
A private family interment will be held in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Jimmie Lee Whitehead, age 60, of Avant, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at his Avant residence.

Jimmie was born November 26, 1954 in Fredonia, Kansas to Sidney and Betty Marie (Brown) Whitehead.
Jimmie grew up and received his education in Wynona in 1973 Jimmie graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. While in school Jimmie was a star basketball player. Jimmie entered into the United States Air Force in 1973 and received his honorable discharge in 1979. Jimmie liked playing darts, golf and basketball.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and father, his twin sister,Diana Marie (Whitehead) Griffin, one brother and by one nephew.

Services for Jimmie Lee Whitehead have been entrusted to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
