Edna E. Malone, 90, of Palm City, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Palm City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Palm City.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she had been a resident of Palm City for the past fourteen years. Prior to settling in Florida she was a life long resident of Monmouth County, New Jersey, living in Port Monmouth, New Monmouth, and Monmouth Beach.
She was an active resident at Whispering Sound, Palm City for fourteen years. Her activities included bridge, entertainment, book group, Women's Club, and the Red Hats. For the ladies of the community Edna initiated and organized the Out to Lunch Bunch. She traveled extensively during her life. During her years in Palm City she was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Palm City.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Vincent T. Malone, who passed away in 1989.
Survivors include her son, Thomas V. Malone of Stuart, and two daughters, Joyce Salvatori and her husband Leonard, and Kathleen Earle and her husband, Herman, both of Palm City. She had seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held for the family with burial in New Jersey.
