Christine was born on March 27, 1911 in Norka, Russia to Yost and Christina (Wolf) Weber. She came to Lincoln, NE. in February of 1914, then moved to Minatare in 1919. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Minatare in 1935. Christine became an U.S. citizen in May of 1941.
She married Earl C. Selby in Gering on March 26, 1938. To this union was born; daughter, Donna Jean.
She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church since 1954 and was active in Pilgrim Society and Bible studies. She was Past Deaconess and chairman of Pilgrim Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Selby, mother, Christina Weber, father, Yost Weber, stepfather, George Arndt, three sisters and five brothers.
