GANESVOORT - Diane M. Perkins, 72, was the daughter of the late Donald and Agnes (Stewart) Marks. Diane owned a cleaning business which she was very proud of. She also waitressed and worked retail for many years. Diane loved spending time with her children, enjoyed family gatherings and couldn't wait for Christmas to decorate the house and bake. In her younger years, she was active with 4-H Club, loved horses and animals.
In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her former husband Stanley Perkins, her husband James D. Smith, sisters Jean Masters and Virginia Ward and by her step daughter Kathy Makin.
