Ann was called home to the Lord on Oct. 16, 2015. She was born in L.A., Calif. on Feb. 25, 1926, to Fernando and Maria Campillo.
Ann lived a full life, through her faith, family and friends. She was born and raised in L.A. and went to UCLA. She met Glynn Becker at a dance in L.A. They married on May 26, 1956 and were together 43 years until he passed in 1999. The family moved to Bellevue in 1970 from San Diego when the U.S. Navy transferred Glynn to Seattle. They were the ying to each other's yang and were an example of love and friendship to their children and extended family.
Ann's Catholic faith was the centerpiece of her life. An active parishioner at St. Louise Parish in Bellevue for more than 44 years, she also was a member of the Margaret Abel Circle of the Association of Catholic Childhood. She joined in monthly prayer groups for more than 40 years and participated in a local Bible Study - all with cherished friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband Glynn; parents Fernando and Maria Campillo; siblings Frank Campillo (Ida); Beatrice Volman (Joe); Robert Campillo; Esther Russell (Arthur); Margaret Kirby (Elton); Hector Campillo. Her in-laws John Frederick (Fred) Becker and Flodell Armstrong Becker and her brother-in-law Fred Becker.
She is survived by her children: son John; daughter Glynda (Tom Fenter); granddaughters Sara and Rachel; niece Linda Campillo (Scott Smith and Mercedes Campillo-Smith); her loving sisters-in-law, Jane Becker and Madeline Campillo, and many other nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
Ann was the life of the party with a laugh that would fill the room. She loved to travel, eat good food, spend time with her friends, support her favorite candidates and cheer on her Seahawks. Until the very end, Ann was living life enthusiastically. She will be greatly missed by us all.
Funeral Mass is Thurs. Nov. 19th at Noon at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue, followed by a reception at Azteca Restaurant in Redmond Washington at 3040 148th Ave. NE Redmond.
She will be interred with her husband at Tahoma National Cemetery on Nov. 20th at 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her honor to the Association of Catholic Childhood, 100 23rd Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98144.
