Jesse Millard was the son of Thomas Millard Jr. and Mary Fuller Millard. His mother can trace her ancestry to the first Fullers who arrived in America on the Mayflower. Jesse is a direct Mayflower Ancestor.

Jesse's family supported England during the Revolutionary War. His father and several of his brothers and himself were members of the elite Butler's Rangers. They were awarded land in Canada due to loyalty during the Rev. Most of the family remained in Canada. Jesse died young and never married.

This line is hard to trace due to the changes in the spelling of the name Millard. Today most ancestors spell the name Miller.
