Joyce C. Mitchell, 64, died December 30, 1994 at Cedar Valley Health Center in Raytown where she lived. Joyce was the daughter of Charles W. Gann and Mary Bell Raymond Gann on May 7, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Oakley Elmer "Stubb" Mitchell on December 22, 1949 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, and they had two children Mary Montez "Tessie" Mitchell (1953-1985) and Emma Mitchell Wiley Orr.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.Tuesday at the Park Lawn Chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Chapel Mrs Mitchell was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Oakley E. Mitchell, Kansas City; a daughter, Emma Wiley, Independence, and a brother, Garland Gann, New Orleans, and 2 grandchildren.
