ADAMS – Donald D., 82, Mineral Point, died Nov. 18, 2015, at his home. Born Feb. 20, 1933, to the late Johnathan E. and Lillie B. (Dull) Adams. Preceded in death by 10 siblings. Survived by siblings, Betty, Spurgeon, Iona, Beverley and Kenneth; adopted grandchildren, Maggie, Quenna, Bobbie Sue and Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Coast Guard. He played guitar for the Wranglers for 15 years, was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Johnstown Scuba Club. Donald hunted emeralds in the Carolinas, loved going camping, cooking and painting. He also loved driving around up North looking for wildlife, going to Duman Dam with his brother, Spurg, riding his motorcycle and dogs. Friends will be received Saturday, Nov. 21, at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m., Pastor David Lee, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spurgeon to help with funeral expenses.
