Ruth Allison of Grace Village Retirement Community of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 94

She was born on September 28, 1921 in Bakerton, Pennsylvania to Walter J. McCombie and Mary (Harris) McCombie. On June 3, 1944 she was married to Roy Allison, who passed away on June 7, 1986.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Neil (wife Leana) Allison (Warsaw, Indiana); two daughters: Patricia (husband David) Mikel (Nappanee, Indiana); Kathleen Allison (Winona Lake, Indiana); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters: Peggy Flores (Johnstown, Pennsylvania); Shirley (husband Bruce S.) Berkey (State College, Pennsylvania); Cally (husband Wilmer) Stiles (Homer City, Pennsylvania); and two brothers: Walter L. (wife Nancy) McCombie (Johnstown, Pennsylvania); George (wife Kathy) McCombie (Johnstown, Pennsylvania). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters: Dorothy Yeager and Olive Bailey.
