Alberta M. Forret, 86, of Granger Manor died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Booneville Cemetery in Booneville.
Mrs. Forret was born in Lamoni and had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She was retired from Parker Brothers and was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Walker of Bouton, Betty O'Leary of Johnston, Mary Forret of Perry and Barbara Moorehead of Aurora, Mo.; a sister, Myrtle Evans of Urbandale; a brother, Willard Loper of Pleasant Hill; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
