Henry C. "Heinie" Weinberger, 77, of 45 Park Ave., died at 4:35 p.m., Monday, January 23, 1984, at St. Francis Home, where he had lived in since October 14, 1983. He had been in failing health since August, 1983.

A native and lifelong resident of Tiffin, he was born May 27, 1906, to the late William and Rosa (Michaels) Weinberger. He was a retired glassworker and in 1972, retired from the State Highway Department. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, it's Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, and the Izaak Walton League. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

On August 9, 1952, he married Aleta Talley at St. Mary Catholic Church, and she died July 7, 1976.

Surviving was a step-daughter, Mrs. Peter (Naomi Arbogast) Hankish, of Perrysburg; sisters, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Ardner, Mrs. Grace Stover, and Mrs. Lee (Loretta) Swecker, all of Tiffin; Mrs. Vinton (Gertrude) Robenalt, of Sarasota, FL, and Mrs. Howard (Hilda) Kelbley, of Fostoria; 11 step-grandchildren, and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

A stepson, James Arbogast, a sister, and two brothers preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at noon, Thursday, January 26, 1984, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation was held after 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 1984, at Hoffmann Memorial Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake service was held at 8 p.m.
