Catherine Marie Fields, 80, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City surrounded by her family. She was born on October 26, 1935 in Neligh, Nebraska to William Alva and Dorothy Luverne (Atkinson) Rice. Catherine grew up in Colorado. She married Clifford Fields and they raised three children. Catherine was the first female mail carrier in Henderson, Colorado. She was a member of the VFW and the Women's Auxiliary. Catherine loved to make quilts, crochet, work crossword puzzles, cook, and oil paint. Most of all, she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Fields; parents; step-father, Howard Thompson; brothers, Raymond Rice and Vernon Thompson.

She is survived by her children, Terry Fields and wife Renee, Cherie Hawks and husband Jim, Lorie Fields Bennett and husband Joe; grandchildren, Lynette, Brandy, Terri, Katie, Brandon, Robin, and Vanessa; great grandchildren, Cody, Cassie, Dakota, Nathan, William, Elizabeth, Jordon, Hunter, Kaylyn, Emory, Brighton, Kimry, Axle, Lily, Kegan, and Taylor; great-great grandchildren, Kairi and Riku; as well as numerous other family and close friends.

Services will be 2pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
