Ruby Leota Busby, 89, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2015. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in Waurika Cemetery, Waurika, Okla. Open visitation from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. Ruby was born May 22, 1926, in Ada, Okla., to Elmer Perry Bishop and Laveda Forman Bishop. She was a resident at St. Francis Village for over 18 years. Her greatest joys were visits from her grandchildren and riding in her golfcart. Ruby was predeceased by her parents; husband, Elmer Ervin Busby; brothers, Carroll and Raymond Bishop; sister, Nirene Bishop Cole; and daughter, Vickie Young. Survivors: Sons, Derl Wayne Busby and wife, Madelyn, and Ronald David Busby and wife, Mary Ann, all of Arlington; sister, Ruth Atwell of Clovis, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
