Mrs. Letha Lee “Patty” Smith, age 82, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 after a brief illness.

Patty was born on August 15, 1932 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Edith Morrison Kidd. She was a homemaker and Methodist by Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Smith, Jr., of the home; son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. and Kathy Smith, of Bridgeport; grandson, Steven Powers, of Anmore; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma Kidd, of Salem; sister-in-law, Hilga Kidd, of VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2014 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will take my place at the conclusion of the visitation at the 7 o’clock hour with Pastor Sharon Dietze, presiding. At her request she will be cremated following the service.
