B. Shook of Chisholm died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. B. Nichols. He died from pneumonia. Burial in Chisholm Sunday.
Pallbearers: Rube Jordan, Cleveland Copeland, Byron Williams, Grady Deaton, Grady Isbell, Ed Kelly.

He was a native of Missouri, born December 1, 1850. He married Miss Elizabeth Good in 1869 and the family moved to Texas in 1892.

He is survived by his wife and ten children:
1. Mrs. W. F. McAnally of Poetry;
2. Mrs. J. J. McCormick of Crandall;
3. Mrs. W. A. Dennis of Graham;
4. J. M. Shook of California;
5. J. B. Shook of Chisholm;
6. Ben Shook of Vernon,
7. Mrs. W. M. Bailey of Tyler;
8. P. T. Shook of Kansas;
9. John M. Shook of Nebraska and
10. Mrs. C. B. Nichols of Chisholm;
forty-two grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren.
