Bill D. Green, age 82, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 in his home. He was born June 6, 1933, in Lebanon, MO, to Everett and Mary (Lewis) Green. He was united in marriage to Catherine O. Vestal on August 12, 1954 in Gary Indiana. Bill retired from Springfield Engineering Company. He was a member of the local Teamsters Union and a member of Church Outreach, Springfield. Bill will always be remembered for teasing nature. He enjoyed watching football and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Catherine Green; his parents Everett O. and Mary O. Green; and one brother, Lee Green. He is survived by his two children, Billy Green and wife Lisa, and Debra “Susie” Green-Booth and husband Rex; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Shore and Juanita Hicks; one siser-in-law, Beverly Stokes; and two brothers-in-law, Dwayne Vestal and Merl Vestal.
