Katheline M. Dysinger, 86, of Galion passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Kobacker House in Columbus,Ohio.
Katheline was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada on June 13, 1929 to the late Robert and Theodosia Pettus.
She was married to the love of her life and best friend for 64 years, Everett R. Dysinger. They were united in marriage on February 10, 1951.
Katheline graduated in St. Thomas, Ontario and came to Galion to work for Perfection in their office. She then transferred to North Electric. While in Phoenix she worked for Bechtel Corp. Katheline spent most of her career as a legal secretary. She attended the Gospel Baptist Church, Galion. Katheline and Everett traveled the world while Everett was serving in the military. Later in life, they traveled the United States in their motorhome. They could always be counted upon to be there for family in sickness or crisis, anywhere in the U.S., bringing with them their unique calm and support. They were always only a telephone call away. They resided in Sun City, AZ for several years before moving back to Galion, OH to be closer to family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Bob & Sara Dysinger, Las Vegas, NV, her grandson Scott Dysinger, Las Vegas, NV, her sister Phyllis (Peggy) Leland, Sun City, AZ and her four sisters-in-law: Dorothy McClarren, Betty & Don Gehrisch and Veda & Wilbur Shifley, all of Galion and Bonnie Dove of Findley as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son David Dysinger, her sister Gwyneth Kaiser Etherington, her brother Bob Pettus, and her sister Mickey.
