Lanier-Andler Funeral Home 8261 Highway 90 East Sneads, Florida 850-593-9900 Mrs. Mildred M. Lawson, 85, a native of Grand Ridge, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, in Marianna, Florida, after a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Sneads, Florida and had retired as an LPN with the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, Florida. She was a member of the Salem Wesleyan Church of Sneads, Florida. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lawson Grantham (Billy) of Sneads, Florida; two brothers, Hilton Lee "Buddy" McMillan and James McMillian (DeDe) all of Grand Ridge, Florida; two sisters, Doris Edenfield (Ronald) of Grand Ridge, Florida and Jean Wyckoff (Jim) of Sneads, Florida; also five grandchildren, Bert Lawson, Alex Baxley, Mathew Grantham, Ashley Pavuk and Christie Hester; four great grandchildren, Ivey Lawson, Lane Kiser, Avery Pavuk and Haysleigh Baxley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Stallie McMillan; sisters, Naomi McMillan and Beatrice Gilley; niece, Beverly Lawrence and a stepson, Hubert Allen Lawson, Jr. Visitation with the family will take place one hour before Funeral Services, 10:00 till 11:00 AM CST, Saturday, November 21, 2015, followed by Funeral Services at 11:00, Salem Wesleyan Church, Sneads, Florida. Rev. Bill Pevy, Rev. Jack Howell and Rev. Wesley Wickard will officiate services. Committal and Interment Services will follow at Salem Wesleyan Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 2764 Salem Church Road, Sneads, Florida 32460.
