Sweetwater - Clifton Warren Miller, 69, died at 3:30 a.m. at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McCoy Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Charles Reece, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Tabors, Juno Brooks, Kenneth Bonner, David Cooper, Corky Frazier and Earl Connell.

Born May 27, 1907in Bend County, he married Evelyn Dial on Aug. 8, 1935 in Bellville. He was a service station operator and had lived in Sweetwater for 23 years.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Amos Roberts and Mrs. Roy McIntosh of Sweetwater, Mrs. Charles Moorhead of Tucson, Ariz. and Mrs. Joanne Ward of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Bill Miller of Snyder; a brother, Roy Miller of Benson, Ariz.; and 17 grandchildren.
