Joann E. Howard, 86, of Anderson, passed away on November 18, 2015 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on November 13, 1929 in Anderson, where she resided all of her life.
Joann graduated from Anderson High School.
She was a beautician for 15 years.
She was a member of the American Legion, and the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.
Joann is survived by her loving daughters, Tamara L. (Thomas Zion Jr.) Schoolcraft of Anderson and Bambi J. Grant of Largo, FL; brother, Mike (Judy) Thomas of Pendleton; former husband, John Buck of FL; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Howard, and her parents, Waldo and Katherine (Redd) Vanwinkle.
Cremation will take place with the interment at later date in The Gardens at Willowcrest Park, Anderson.
