MRS. MAE F. COOK
Mrs. Mae F. Cook, New Vienna Rt. 1 (Careytown), died at 6:25 P. M. Sunday, in Highland District Hospital, Hillsboro.
She had been a patient there since Nov. 29. She was 79. Wife of Ellis J. Cook, prominent farmer and civic leader, she was a member of the Auburn Methodist Church of Careytown, the Auburn WSCS, the Mimosa Twig of the Highland District Hospital auxiliary and the Farm Bureau Council for West Penn-Fairfield.
She and her husband, who survives, were 50-year members of the New Vienna Grange.
She was born in Ross County, March 25. 1890, the daughter ot Leo H. and Etha Shoemaker Fels. She and her husband were married July 21, 1917.
Other survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Harvey C. Ream, Columbus; a brother, Charles Fels, Marshall; four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cornelius, Hillsboro, Miss Eva Fels, Careytown, Mrs. Everett Gustin, Bloomington, and Mrs Esther Keller, Mt. Carmel; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 P. M. Wednesday, at Smith Funeral Home, New Vienna, with burial at the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from noon Tuesday until time of services, at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the special memorial fund at Highland District Hospital.
