Born July 20, 1902 in Bangs, she married Fred Otis Henderson on April 14, 1938 in Colorado City. She was a retired secretary for Simmons Mattress Co. and had lived here since 1938. She was a member of Lamar Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Johnny [Bradshaw] of Dallas; a brother, R. W. Wright of Hamlin; and three grandchildren.
