Debbie Murphy - Robinson, 63, passed away at 1:47pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at her residence. She was born on August 6, 1952, in Wood River, Illinois, the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Virginia (Cunningham) Murphy, Sr. She married Steven Patrick “Pat” Robinson on June 28, 1986, in Fieldon, Illinois, and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter and son in law: Tara and James Smith of Summerville, South Carolina, two grandchildren: Sierra Smith and Dylan Smith both of Summerville, South Carolina, one sister and brother in law: Cindy and Richard Dannenbrink of Holiday Shores, two brothers and sisters in law: John and Cyndi Murphy of Rosewood Heights, Steven and Janice Murphy of Florida, two step – sons and their families, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

She was formerly employed at Great American Truck Lines as a dispatcher. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: William Thomas “Tommy” Murphy, Jr.

In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 10am until time of reflection at 12pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.
