Billy Joe Epperson, 69, of Sweetwater, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Sweetwater Cemetery. Burial will be with Veteran's Honor Guard. Reverend Roy Epperson will be officiating. Arrangements were made with Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the Bluebonnet Room at the Holiday Inn Restaurant in Sweetwater.
Mr. Epperson was born Feb. 15, 1934 in Tyler. He married Ida Bell Huse, Aug. 23, 1957 in Sweetwater. He was a Baptist; a barber and a truck driver.
He is survived by three daughters, Carrie Sanderson, and Pamela Epperson both of Sweetwater, Ruby Wyrosdrick of Colorado City; a son, Billy Don Epperson of Loraine; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Bell Epperson, on Feb. 9, 1996 and one sister, Joyce Braackeen.
